Add knowledge documents.

The agent only answers from what you give it. Adding good documents makes all the difference.

Opening the Sources tab

Inside any agent, click the Sourcestab. You'll see two input methods: Paste a note and Fetch a URL.

Paste a note

Copy-paste any plain text — your FAQ, pricing page, return policy, about page, or support scripts. Give it a descriptive title so you can find it later.

Tip: paste multiple short, focused documents rather than one huge wall of text. The agent retrieves the most relevant sections; smaller chunks retrieve more accurately.

Fetch a URL

Enter a public webpage URL and Resposai will fetch its text content once and store it as a document. The document is a snapshot — it won't update automatically if the page changes. Re-fetch it whenever your content changes significantly.

Works well for: your homepage, product pages, help articles, blog posts. Does not work for: pages behind a login, PDFs, or JavaScript-only rendered pages.

Document limits by plan

  • Free — 5 documents per agent
  • Growth — unlimited documents
  • Studio — unlimited documents

Upgrade your plan to remove the document limit.

Deleting documents

Each document in the Library has a Delete button. Removal is immediate — the agent will stop referencing that content on the next message.
